Goedkope tuindecoratie: een windmolentje van de Action
Ik ben dol op windmolentjes in de tuin! Ze geven fleur en kleur, ook als je geen groene vingers hebt. Tot voor kort had ik een mooi roze windmolentje in onze voortuin, maar dit jaar ging hij helaas kapot. Gelukkig zijn windmolentjes niet duur, en bij de Action vond ik een hele mooie nieuwe!

Er zit een soort glinsterend materiaal in, waardoor hij letterlijk schittert in de zon!

Al een paar keer lag ik op de loer met mijn iphone om het windmolentje op de gevoelige plaat vast te leggen als het bewoog door de wind! Maar dat zul je altijd zien: geen zuchtje wind te bekennen. Tot gisteren!

Do you have Aldi’s over there? They are a very reasonably priced grocery store, but they also have one aisle with random fun things (toys, kitchen goods, even clothing). It changes ever week. Last month I found a very cool spinning windmill there which is 5 feet tall and looks great in our garden. (And it was bargain priced) :)

That little windmill is so cheerful! I love how the shimmering material catches the light—it must look beautiful on a sunny day. I had to laugh that there wasn’t any wind when you were trying to film it because that always seems to happen!

HIj is heel leuk! Ik maak wel eens windmolentjes of lampionnetjes van lege blikjes. Ook erg leuk! Als je googelt, vind je wel een uitleg. Supersimpel.

When I was a kid, we called them pinwheels. They were so fun to play with. When there was no wind, we would hold out and turn around in circles to see it spin! Even attaching them to our bicycle front handbar basket. So much fun, endless!

I have lots of pretty lights at home mainly ones my granddaughter has chosen for me and persuaded her mother (DIL) to buy me for birthdays and mother’s day. I then have the odd ornament or windmill that I buy for the grandchildren that they leave behind. Currently we have 2 scarecrows I bought just for the hell of it. Thanks for joining in with #pocolo
